Broad Construction has begun works on the new Performing Arts and Convention Centre in Busselton.
Once complete, the development will boast more than 625 seats, as well as an art gallery, conference facilities and the conversion of an existing heritage building into a bar/restaurant with a back-of-house block to house administrative staff.
Mayor Grant Henley and several city councillors met with Broad Construction recently to celebrate the commencement of construction with a sod turning ceremony on the site.
