CPB Contractors’ Benita Husband, Engineering Director VIC & TAS, has been recognised by Roads Australia for her outstanding contribution to industry engagement at their recent John Shaw Medal event, where she received the RA Champion Award.
Receipt of this award formally recognises Benita’s consistent and inspiring approach to championing the development of future industry leaders, namely, her support of Roads Australia's Emerging Leaders and Fellows programs.
On the evening, Roads Australia Executive Director Mark Sinclair presented the award and explained Benita's immense impact on the growth and empowerment of tomorrow's infrastructure leaders.
“Through her involvement, Benita has helped foster a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing within our Emerging Leaders and Fellows programs”, said Mark.
Roads Australia’s RA Champion Award is the organisation's only award that does not accept nominations. Judged by RA staff, the recipient is recognised for the level of commitment and depth of engagement they have with Roads Australia.
