CPB Contractors recently took part in the Hands On Trades and Careers Expo in Benalla, Victoria, an event that welcomed more than 1,700 secondary school students from across the region.
The expo gave students in Years 8 to 12 the opportunity to explore potential career pathways and engage directly with industry professionals across a range of trades.
A major highlight of CPB Contractors’ presence was our Virtual Reality (VR) experience. Students used our virtual reality (VR) headset to step inside a virtual building and view the output of a BIM (Building Information Modelling) system - an engaging way to demonstrate how digital tools are transforming modern project delivery.
The event not only sparked interest and excitement among students but also reinforced CPB Contractors’ commitment to supporting the next generation of tradespeople, engineers, and project leaders. By participating in events like these, CPB Contractors aims to foster awareness, confidence, and curiosity in young Australians considering a future in construction.
