CPB Contractors is proud to share that NSW Infrastructure General Manager Rob Monaci has been appointed to the inaugural NSW Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Corporate Leadership Group, established by the NSW Government.
This newly formed group brings together senior leaders from across the private sector to collaborate on meaningful strategies to prevent and respond to domestic, family, and sexual violence. The aim is to harness the influence and reach of business to drive cultural change and support safer, more respectful workplaces and communities.
Rob’s appointment reflects both his leadership and the important role our industry can play in shaping safer environments - not just on our worksites, but across the wider community.
“As construction is a traditionally male-dominated industry, there is an urgent need to modernise the culture across worksites and offices to make construction an attractive career option for women and young people and create a sustainable and diverse workforce,” explains Rob.
“The nationwide skills shortage is an issue bigger than any one contractor. This is an opportunity for businesses to be part of the solution. I’m looking forward to learning from others in the group and exploring how we can make a real and lasting impact - from the policies we set to the culture we create.”
CPB Contractors is dedicated to providing safe and diverse workplaces and fostering a culture that recognises the unique value women bring to our business. CPB Contractors is also committed to supporting any employees experiencing family and domestic violence and recognises it as a serious health and safety issue impacting wellbeing, providing awareness, assistance, and support.
