Parkline Place, constructed by CPB Contractors for consortium partners Oxford Properties Group, Mitsubishi Estate Asia and Investa, officially opened this week.
The office and retail building is located above the recently opened Sydney Metro Gadigal Station, which was also delivered by CPB Contractors.
Camillo Masci, Executive General Manager – Building, attended the opening of the new tower. He commended the considerable expertise and teamwork that brought this impressive building to life.
Powered by renewable electricity, Parkline Place aims to operate with net zero (scope 1 and 2) emissions. It features a range of productive, smart and sustainable features, including:
- 6 Star Green Star V1.3 Rating Design and As Built target
- Locally sourced sandstone for a lower carbon footprint
- Façade and tower design for passive energy use and light-filled floor plates
- Indoor Environmental Quality monitoring
- A digital twin building model for real-time operations insight and management.
Parkline Place is one of two over-station developments atop the new Gadigal Station, both of which have been delivered by CPB Contractors. Late last year, CPB Contractors also completed construction of Sydney CBD’s first purpose-built build-to-rent tower, Indi Sydney, for Investa and Oxford Properties Group.
