The project involved designing, constructing, and commissioning four accommodation units with 512 beds, two new support buildings for prisoner rehabilitation and training programs, upgrades to visitor and medical centres, carpark expansion, a new kitchen and meals facility, and a reception storage facility within the secure perimeter of Casuarina Prison.
Complex security measures were essential to maintain the prison's full operation during the project. Notably, Broad Construction successfully completed the project with no security breaches.
