In 2020 CPB Contractors were awarded the Concrete and Detailed Earthworks package at the Iron Bridge magnetite mine site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.  The $115 million project included the detailed earthworks, structural fill, formwork, reinforcing steel, cast in items, concrete place and finish works and was completed in 2022.

The scope of work included:

• 40,000 m³ of structural concrete
• 77,000 m³ of detailed excavation and backfill
• Installation of three 4.5m diameter multiplate tunnels
• 109,608 m² HDPE lining of process water ponds
• 240,000 m³ total earthworks
• 5,930 t Steel (rebar)
• 840 metres of pipe
• 630,000 work hours undertaken
