CPB Contractors has been selected by the Australian Government’s Department of Defence to deliver the Riverina Redevelopment Program in New South Wales and Victoria.
The program, which commenced its Planning Phase in 2022 and was completed in late 2023, was delivered in a 50:50 joint venture with Downer EDI Limited (Downer). Following the completion of planning and subject to Government and Parliamentary approvals, the Delivery Phase began in early 2025 and is scheduled to run through to late 2031, marking one of the most substantial Defence infrastructure upgrades in the region.
The Riverina Redevelopment Program incorporates three major projects:
- Albury-Wodonga Military Area Redevelopment
- RAAF Base Wagga (Yalbiligi Ngurang) Redevelopment
- Blamey Barracks Kapooka (Gabuga) Redevelopment

- Training facilities
- Communal facilities
